Tulelake, CA is located in northern CA just below the border of
central Oregon. From the Lava beds to Grant's Pass and Crater
Lake the riding in this area can only be described as
spectacular. Tulelake is also a state game preserve and is
located on the pacific fly way. Migrating water fowl take
advantage of the vast marshy lake area which is home to
thousands of birds. A rich veteran history still exists as many of
the settlers were World War I and WWII homesteaders who
were offered participation in a lottery drawing as an honor for
their service in defending our country. These young people,
mostly in their early 20’s, depended on each other. From
nothing but a lake bed, with no roads, electricity, or
infrastructure, they built this community, and it took
camaraderie and working together to make it work. The area
has open country roads to ride and with a great party at the
event this virtually undiscovered area will be a home for a
great motorcycle rally for years to come.
